WELCOME TO THE OLD CROWN, 33 NEW OXFORD ST.
The Old Crown is a unique building located on the corner of Museum Street and New Oxford Street. The pub dates back to 1851 years and has a character all of its own. The venue is open to the public on 3 floors all of which have a different vibe to them. The Old Crown is a whimsical escape from the busy streets that surround and once you come in you get the impression it has offered this for quite some time.
You can find reference to The Old Crown in Hogarth's famous Beer Street & Gin Lane from 1751. The spire of St Gile's church is just on the opposite side of the street - so it is fair to say we have some heritage when it comes to serving a libation or two.
GROUND FLOOR -MAIN BAR
Come and join us day or night to enjoy the unique atmosphere at The Old Crown, 33 New Oxford Street. We open the doors at 11am and offer a lunch and evening menu serving until 10pm. The bar is open until 3am Thursday - Saturday making 33 New Oxford Street a top spot for late night revelry central London.
SECOND FLOOR SNUG
The Snug on the Second Floor as we fondly refer to it as is a 30 person private room complete with open fire (when the weather demands).
This space is ideal for a quiet spot to work from in the daytime, business meeting or party in the evening.
Our top floor is a hidden gem in the midst of central London. With a standing capacity of 85 it is ideal for parties and daytime conferences.
Over the Chistmas period the room is transformed into a banquet room ideal for staff lunches.
